Sounds good to me. We started getting it for our toddler, but I find myself eating more of them than he does! Gotta be better than chocolate anyway.

Again, depends on the chocolate! Good quality dark stuff (70% + cocoa) is full of flavinoids or something like that, antioxidants anyhow. Good fats too, some protein believe it or not, and lower in sugar than muck like galaxy. But then chances are your nipper won't have the palate for that yet, seeing as most adults don't! There are better ways of getting dairy goodness than cheese, and many, many better cheeses than babybel, although again most of them are not really toddler fodder I imagine.. |

My wife has become addicted to the kids Babybels, too...
I can't see it being any more junk like than Gouda or edam, really. As for chocolate - I want sugar in mine, and lots of it! |

Er, me!
But I'd vote for the dark chocolate any day. We must keep eating Bel products, because they are the only cheese manufacturer I know of who sponsor sailing:

There's a big difference between a "Nutritionist" and a "Dietitian", at least in the UK. The latter requires an accredited degree, and anyone without the relevant qualifications will get in legal trouble for using the title.
The former, however- well, anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. There are some very odd things that a lot of people who trade as "nutritionists" take seriously. Have a little reading for the afternoon As for it being a natural additive, take a look at this. Yes, it does occur naturally. But most of it available isn't. |
