Contender443 is still one of these people who get their magazine from the local newsagents. It's one small way to keep little businesses alive. The issue never hits the shelf; it's ordered for him and is kept until he picks it up. That could take any time up to...... three hours!!!

The main drawback of not having a subscription is not having access to dedicated pages on the website. He's been reading Y&Y for long enough!

I am aware of the financial / marketing situation and, for the magazine's point of view, subscriptions are preferable. Still, remember that little shops depend on regular customers to keep providing a good, local service.

yer but when it is deliverd to your door who wants to walk to the shops?  anyway i dont like going to the corner shops anymore cos it smells like a curry house and is run by people that cant speak english!!!

If your local regular postman is sick or on holiday,

 a letter from a village 50 km from munich to munich takes 4 days! and Y&Y takes about 5 or 6 days! the postman comes at about 1 o´clock afternoon.
