on the 600 suggestion front, a number of years ago my dad had a 600 and just could not get the hang of it, and also i hear many a story about its very steep learning curve. comments? apart from practise makes perfect?

would a contender be alright for someone of around 70kgs?

cheers again

There are contender sailor who must be nearly 70kg, you would just find yourself powered up early, seem to me that when it windy weight only makes a small ammount of difference in contenders.
