the foiling 600 doesn't seem practical to me, swimming it out into deep enough water to right it and sail will ebe one hell of a challenge i reckon. its not exactly as light and small as a moth. once your sailing i reckon it would be great fun.

Thought they were planning retractable foils for the 600FF ? (could be talking out my arse though...)

If the hull is 50kgs then the I'd guess the sailing weight will be perhaps almost 80kgs.

Here is the breakdown of the MPS which has a 44kg hull and 80Kg sailing weight.

I agree the Moth looks awsome if you want to go foiling ....

the 600ff has retractable foils and the kit is removable in 20 mins or so.  also the class is having an up period at the moment.

and u can get a 600 for arround 1000 for an old one.  then for 3500 u have a boat that can beat pretty much anything on the water

and we all want to have a go at wireing 3ft above the water doing 25knots dont we.

On the same principle a budget moth foiler could be sorted for less and will almost certainly be quicker than the 600FF...
