Rescue Boat Liability?

Now Major, not for the first time people have failed to spot the irony in my comments. If Jamie wants to turn what's left of his 600 into tiny pieces I am happy to sell tickets for the event. However, we won't be running Rescue and with the direction of wind he is most likely to wash up at Largs.

Phil (for I believe it is you). I can understand why you switched to Tornados. Soo much cheaper to repair.  Have you broken a carbon mast yet? Have they told you that you need to hold onto the mainsheet a bit downwind?

Pot or Kettle - I don't mind. Which holds the most beer?

It's an old boat and was originally built with stiff mast. Along the way someone upgraded to soft mast but kept the original. I have now put stiff mast back on boat to get more power.

Even if I took you up on your offer I suspect they'll cancel the ferries so how are you going to get here? On your Hurri or Tornado?

Yes, being on the race committee that does include me and I treat it very seriously.  I am one of the most relied upon to make the call which is a shame because I like the fresh days.  But safety must come first.
