The beauty of having the lines in the profile is that everyone signing up to the forum would be prompted to give the info - they wouldn't have to have the bright idea of adding it to their postings.

i think his idea is good at least u dont have to click on anything only scroll!(im not really that lazy )

It's good subliminal marketing for some companies. If people are constantly scrolling down pages, passing certain names, they might automatically get implanted into your mind and the next time you are thinking about your consumer needs, the companies names will be fore-front of your mind. I'm probably speaking nonsense but it might just work with some people....
