Do check the luff and foot bolt ropes! These tend to shrink over time. That will mean the main won't go up to the top black band - it may cause severe wrinkling of the luff.

Might be worth checking when the Enterprise class adopted spreaders - the original boats didn't have them - but did have wooden masts...

Probably closer to a new set than a 1960 set would have been in 1990!

Sail with them, see how they feel, at club level I'm sure they will be great, maybe winning the Nationals might be an ask.

Assuming they’re constructed from man-made materials, and kept in the dark they should be ok from a degradation perspective, I would think. How different the cut is from current thinking / fashion is a different matter. I don’t know how Ent mast bend is controlled, being deck stepped, with spreaders but w/o lowers...

I have been given a suit of Enterprise sails, they were new in 1992 and measured by J C Lees on the 5th June 1992, then stored in the loft till now, will they be any good? They certainly feel like new sails.
