If you're West Solent, you could look at D-Ones at Lymington?
Finns at Mengeham on Chi Harbour.
Solo at HISC, also 700's, Lasers.

I'm a bit out of touch with Stokes, but there and Lymington are about the only non-tidal places, so give more racing at regular times.
Also look at Weston, tidal though.

IMHO, LTSC is a nice place to sail, proper waves and lots of tide, but a bit of a drive from here.

This time of year, Frensham or Chichester for winter series.

Lots of small clubs, some good sailors scattered around.

Apparently there's a big new racing mark in the Solent that's the subject of considerable interest.

Going to be a bit of obstruction for the annual cricket match! I know that pidgeons often stop play at the Oval but a ship on pitch would be a first!!

Usually more lasers than *eros at Emsworth. Regularly 15+, including a couple of radials/4.7s.

The *ero numbers have included boats from Thorney for the winter, so may be down a little in the spring.

It was interesting talking to *ero sailors at emsworth in the autumn. Most of the sailors at emsworth had gone for the zero while most of the thorney sailors had gone for the aero. Both lots of sailors seemed very happy with their new boats and seemed very evenly matched on the water.

Still lots of lasers on the water though.

Lee on Solent is also able to sail at any state of the tide, but we dont have a strong single handed fleet. Stokes have a large number of Musto's including Bruce Keen.
Double handers we have fleets of 400's and 2000's.

Solo's at HISC.

Stokes is a nice club and having a new clubhouse, but not sure about the fleet position.

LTSC has 4 d-ones, but they are all very active.

As said above aero's at LTSC still early days, but have 4 so far, another couple this month and a total of 14 delivered by late Feb. I believe there are another two orders being placed shortly.
