[QUOTE=Timmus]a joke aimed at Laser193713.... made a big sales pitch on the micro magic and you still went for the Laser RC

nothing more.
I know nothing about either models....
Had great fun at the Ally Pally show last year racing the RC boats for charity.

I am sure you will have great fun...which is after all...the whole point.
Enjoy

Hi Timmus. Thanks for your reply,no problem i can see the funny side of it now.

Cheers

It wasn't a sales pitch, I have no commercial interest. I still don't see the funny side... I have sailed both boats, won races in both, but the micro magic gave me more fun. That's all I said. I couldn't care less what Colin bought. I'm sure he will have fun.

To be honest if it was me today I would probably join in with the new Dragon Force RG 65 lot. Cheap, very cheap! Fills the hole in the RC world that the laser fills in the dinghy world. Doesn't try to be too fast or fancy. The RG65 class itself is very high tech but they seem to be able to race on the same course without being too embarrassing, in fact, they are not slow at all. It seems to be working as a one design class inside of a box rule.
