That really is a colour that will cause a few comments.
It looks suspiciously like a certain boat I've repaired, if it's BS22C37 Mauve I still have about 975g of pigment for it! |

Cerise, he's had a boat made in Cerise, of course there's a huge after market for female solo sailors no doubt, but seriously I am lost for words, which as you all know doesn't happen often. In fact I'm not so sure it's even Cerise, it could be closer to Baby Pink, all I know, it's wrong. I'll check the details later, but it's pretty much a colour match to the Winner Mk8 Optimist, circa 1992. Fresh start n' all that; so i also fancied matching one of the boats I admired as a kid. I've had a pink (or was it lilac?) boat and it was great - pink spinny as well. I like your solo and if your kids like it even better.
White boats are dull, grey can look really smart (Wayfarers look good)- but Laser Vela grey - barf.
Good luck on the 1st outing as it were. |
