Talking of ferrying kids around. I've finally seen my first "double articualted" bike in Cambridge- and adult with a trailer bike with a kid pedalling along behind, with a cargo trailer attached to that. Brilliant.

Hmm I should know the answer to that.. There is a dealer finder thingy on
the website, but I wonder..

This Transam stuff we do, is mainly frames and bits that the sort of
following it has build themselves. There are bike shops who will build
them, do bike shops do trade ins? I wonder.

I shall ask my man he's back of his hols today, it wasn't a really serious
suggestion but I do know, like me, you like a tasty bit of kit now and again
and this Transition stuff is tasty.

Well, since building my road bike a few months ago I've been pounding out the miles and am about to do my 1st Sportive! (Ive managed to lose 2st somewhere along the line too )

Any of you lot doing the Blenhiem Sportive on the 3rd Oct?  There's a 60 mile and a 100 mile route (I'm sticking to the 60 for my 1st go).  Should be a good day.

Well I use them and think they're great.  Make sure your cleats are the multi-point release, so you can do the panicky-twist-it-every-which-way-possible-before-you-hit-the-ground dance.

SPD's are great for MTB'ing James. Although, sometimes you need to dab a bit quicker than when you are on road so you may want to loosen them off a bit.
