Jon Funny thing about windward leewards, 3 or 4 years ago we used to have our afternoon races split between w/ls for asymettric boats and quadrilaterals for the rest, but a majority of the asym sailors got bored with w/ls and wanted to do the quadrilaterals...

I should probably point out at this point as alot of people are interested- I have a big CNC machine that could cut the parts of that nested Auto CAD JackSparrow has if needed. Can order all the wood in aswell.. :P PM me if interested.

Not to put you off, in fact I really like the idea too.  However, while I'm good at the 'broad brush' type of task (knock a doorway in, stick in a lintle, attach some skirting boards) I'm not much cop with the detail (nice dovetails, tidy mortice joints that sort of thing...).

Frankly, cutting shapes out of a sheet of ply neatly doesn't hold huge fear factor for me (though I'd still pay for it to be done), after all, they're flat shapes, just cut to the lines, or slightly outside of them and plane/sand down.  The critical skill, to me, is getting all the stingers on and then the ply for the hull and inside deck skins... it's getting sheets of wood to bend in different shapes and glue on to a frame that scares the wotsits out of this drill waver...particularly if the edges have to meet in something approaching neat joints!  Perhaps there's an option where you can use loads of bog and glue on the inside and it looks lovely and pretty on the outside still....

I'm looking to get the Farr 3.7 to the RYA dinghy show next year. Obviously this is quite expensive when there in no current RYA class association.

I'm hoping to find an appropriate stand that would like a crowd pulling boat ( farr 3.7 ) on there stand, if anyone knows anyone or indeed has a stand at the show and is willing to give over a small amount of it in exchange for hopefully the increased foot fall, please contact me on here or through my blog!

Your best bet would be one of the fittings manufacturers perhaps?
TBH, more interested people will take notice of it if you do all the winter pursuits....
