Have you ever checked that? Only asking because I'd never heard of such a thing before I arrived in England. I haven't conducted any formal experiment on English ducks, but I can assure you that the French "Coin-coin" (kwah kwah in phonetics, kind of duck's French accent) is definitely resoundant! |

havent we had this one already, i thought they said it did echo and this had been proven in recent research? anyway what sort of mars bar it could be a snack size one or an extra large one. |

well i actually heard it echo cus i happened to be in a echoey tunnel and a duck appeared and it quacked and i heard 'quack, quack, quack, quack, quack, quack
the size of the letters indicated the volume of the echo of the quack! |

Of course the quack has to echo - ye cannae chaange the laws of physics Jim!
In the absence of an echoey tunnel, the duck emits another quack as soon as the echo is detected back at it's ears. The follow-up quack is made in phase with the returning echo and the waveforms merge, thus amplifying the apparent sound of the duck. An echo would normally be diminished in amplitude(volume) each time it is heard so the duck is hiding the normal physical experience of an echo.QED! Edited by Phat Bouy |
