Theres actually 3 service stations with recharging points between where I live mid-week and new-home. And the leisure centre 50 metres from the front door has one also!

Once you've got to the top of the hill, gravity saves elastictrickery on the way down!

You can't rely on all electric yet anyway.

I bought an Audi Etron, with which i'm wholly satisfied and am now thinking of trading in the T5 of joy for the Van version of the Mitsubishi, She who must be adored is more than happy with it's thirty mile range round towns, we literally, since june the 29th when we filled it up at Scotch corner on the journey home, have put two lots of thirty quid in it all summer and charge it off the Solar Panels whenever possible. Love it, but, it comes with a cautionary tale, if you want to charge it from the charging stations that allegedly abound, you'll find them as compatible as dinghy hardware, there are competing systems, half of them out of order and the other half with plugs that don't fit your vehicle, it's a complete foul up, when it could have been oh so simple.
