Pierre, I hope Nick's camera is waterproof then 

I also don't expect him to have time to take pictures whilst he is sailing!

But like you I want someone to produce some good pictures of all the boats racing. I have suggested to someone at Blithfield some new video footage would be good especially if includes the Mk4.

Good action photos do not look a good possibility having just taken a look at the wind forecast for Blithfield over the weekend, prediction is F2

Just had a look at the Osprey site, and under the Mk4 news section there are a few pics of the new bird up at Keilder in action. Topic header "Northern Flight"

There was absolutely no wind at all "darn sarf" today.  Hope there was something at Blithfield.

Well here is the Osprey News.

It was a super event with a success for Will Odling in MK4 1316 followed by Mike Taylor in Mk3 1297. The next placed boat was Dez Menear in MK2A 425.

So in the first 3 places were a MK4, a Mk3 and a Mk2 and the results were close.

In next 4 places were the remaining MK4;s seperated by Phi; Angrave in a MK3 1281.

Brave new World took to the water for the first time and all I can say is she was a dream to sail and thanks to Mark Hartley for giving me this chance

It's great to see that the gloom has lifted, and that all versions of the Osprey were involved in what sounds like an excellent event, however I'm still slightly baffled:

If the Osprey Mk IV is now back in favour, who's going to be building them ? ......have things been patched up with Hartley Mouldings now so that more MK IVs can be made available ? Confused

In real terms the MK4 has never been out of favour. The Class is working to recover the situation and the best way for this to happen is to keep comment only to the boats and their performance.

As of a couple of weeks ago, the builder Hartley Laminates has confirmed that it will be taking further orders - which is great news for the class.

The scotts just got their new mk4 yesterday - means i get to sail their old one in the nats - yay! plus they hav the sexiest kevlar (i think) sails ever on any boat ever!!!! (with exception to atom bomb's sails, they are beyond sexy!! )
