Mrs B has pointed out that we all need to get some pink gear to match the sail trim - has Keith already adopted this policy?

Finally got a shot of me (all be it not great quality) in club racing yesterday. Very light winds again and albsolutely trucking downwind but so light that upwind was struggling to get rid of hook effect up the leech. Only way was to pull of loads of mainsheet to tension leech but it felt slower than easing the sheet although the sail looked nicer. Anyway she still sailed very nicely to handicap. Cheers, Keith. |

I've put a hex on no 118. That was mine. Forever after anyone who sails it will immediately start to shrink, their hair will fall out and they will develop a bad attitude. Whilst acquiring a certain sense of style, a ready wit and attractiveness to the female gender. ![]() You might wish to adjust your hire fees accordingly. |

Come on Charlie, in the spirit of getting us all going, RS should at least give
us the sweet spot on the traveller! It would be a shame for the TT, GRF and all the other chairpeople of the class assoc to rule that RS staff start the Nationals with another 20 points off the handicap ![]() make them go please? |

Now Chris..... I can't go giving away all of the secrets on
how to make an RS100 go quickly - I've got to keep some things to myself, so helping me do well at the 2010 Nationals at Parkstone. The mainsheet bridle does have a 'sweet spot' though, that does make the boat do exactly what it says on the tin. For those interested then I take beer/bottle of wine tokens as payment, redeemable at the Nationals!! |

Our RS 100's have now arrived in Minorca. They were both rigged yesterday and 1 was taken for a sail. Not much wind (bottom end of a F2) but with the large rig you could happily sit out on the side! Today F5 we are rigging up for another sail! |

If it's lumpy I'd bag it first ... otherwise it can get in a hell of a tangle as the kite gets worked around stuff as the boat bobs on the waves ... |

Charlie - is this the same setting as supplied ? The one bit I am very unsure of is should I sheet hard enough to pull the traveller away from the stop on the bridle or keeping this as the max sheeting angle, which is what i have been trying to do? Obviously then this dictates what angle you sail upwind. |
