Well, evidently, according to Lancing Sailing Club web site www.lancingsc.org it's have a go at BnS day on Saturday 18th June, and they feel this activity will be so popular they are incorporating a beer festival as well. What a game girl she is. |

Thanks Pierre! The news focused recently on water shortages in the South-East, with alarming pictures of WeirWood reservoir. And yep, on Saturday, there's Have-a-Go day, evening pursuit race followed by a barbecue and beer festival. I'll be there, so will be Contender443 and other (quieter) forum members.... |

Hosepipe ban came in last Saturday for Southern Water, and although WeirWood is not the lowest it's ever been, it is for this time of year. There's a bit more to it than that but I don't think it would be wise to comment on a public forum........ |
