yeah but you do have to think, how seriously will a topic named 'Stars' be linked to sailing. I must admit it is annoying to come back to the forum after a day away and the threads to be 3/4 pages further on, |

I agree this thread is pretty much banter anyway but it is getting harder and harder to find any good stuff on here now. A lot of threads start of being quiet interesting on something technical one day and when you come back the next day there is 7 pages of gossip to read through and everyone has given up on trying to say anything serious. |

Maybe if there is a whole page of Banter in a non-banter section the thread could be moved. Does anyone know if it's possible? If you are still participating in it then you'll still get reminders. I like talking to people with similar interests to me but I wouldn't spend ALL my time talking about those interests - I mean I didn't get moaned at by anyone for talking about motorbikes at the sailing club yesterday!!!!!!

i know what you mean, i do agree that banter should be kept in the banter section however i think that if they want to have a bit of gossip in that section there is no problem also alot of the banter threads are related to sailing- despite how loosley they are , still counts in my eyes |

This thread is a special case really. If you take your time to go back to the first pages, you'll see that Haggis and Phil were comparing how many stars they had.. We also witness sailorgirl as a débutante and Brian all nervous to post! History unfolding itself... As for the amount of non-sailing related postings, I've got to admit I'm one of the main guilty parties Basically, sorry guys and girls... I won't do it again ....

and to make it more annoying you have to go to the bottom of each page to go back one.
Conversations change course all the time and this topic was pretty much banter when it started anyway.
The fact that I don't sail has never stopped me from having a word! (or ten
