Would you believe that this mast was brand new in January? It's only been sailed 3 times, and yesterday was the first time it went out in a decent wind (top 5/6). You could SEE it bend as it was going along! Looks like it's not supposed to do that...

Try and get a picture for us to see if it's bending too much. All masts bend to a certain extent when windy and since the topper has no shrouds, it more suseptable to bending. If you've got a rear sheeted boat, jam the main sheet in at some point and you'll see the mast bending to the rear of the boat. |

Hmm maybe, but not before he has a sweet word with manufacturers. It's a brand-new mast, sailed only 3 times. He didn't capsize or anything, just SAILED the boat in a force 5/6!! |
