jaffa cakes are sponge cake base with organe jelly layer ontop, very nice but slightly hard to explain. Yes what we do eat is slightly strange but then again so is having salami for breakfast. |

sounds very adventorous what you brits eat before, after and during sailing!
for me itīs before sailing about three cups of coffee, bread and marmelade. during: mostly water and wine gum and on good days even biscuits. after: before eating beer, then mostly more biscuits (masses of) and then some pizza. whatīs jaffa cake? |

for me it's; for breakfast: cereal with mug of tea and orange juice, toast and fruit before racing: pasta salad/bolenegse or potatoes during racing: nothing becasue else im sick everywhere in the boat after: lots of guinness and pastys and fish and chips and burgers and curry and chips, then sleep. |

Yann on the jelly beans front Haribo are the best, we got told that we had to eat them by our coaches and aparently - dont quote me on this- they are used by some of the olympic sailors. Harry i'l tell u the worst one my friend left jelly to go soggy in the bottom of her spini bag, it ended up goin mouldy............ |

Word of warning about Jaffa Cakes: Pack your tub you put in support boat v.carefully, soggy jaffa cakes mixed with bannana mush and squashed mars bars isn't to everyones taste- I still ate it though |
