On a rib Saturday for the NSSA Team Racing (Linked) doing photography and safety cover.
Saturday night .. Dragonforce and Turisas at London Astoria!! Awwwwwwsome gig! Hearing was still ringing slightly Sunday afternoon! Sunday .. Early ish morning, photography from the shore in the rain, and then out in a power for the semifinals and final! Congrats to everyone who took part, seems a good time was had by all .. Even if it was a bit wet/windy! |

I went to the Laser Qualifier at Sidmouth but we had no racing all weekend (we could not get off the beach because of the size of the waves!) It was actually really nice to have a weekend with nothing to do
 .

i was out on saturday getting absolutely mullered by my 4.7 sail on my windsurfer. It was amusing until i started thinking about stuff breaking. Sunday I was too lazy (read hungover, mates 18th birthday) to go for a sail. I really need to get back in a proper sailing vessel this weekend with a ruddder and bits of string. Hopefully i will be 600-ing or 14-ing this weekend as i got off the water tonight and realised the nose of my board was very very squashy, around a large-ish crack, oooopppps.

Spent an hour and a half or so sailing a GP14 singlehanded with no rudder this morning
 Best sailing I've had in a long time, great feeling when I finally got the hang of balancing everything and went faster than the people with the steering stick on...Fitted out my new boom in the afternoon and went for a sail, beautiful weather, sunny, warm, nice amount of wind to force my crew to use the spinnaker  This is what it's about! Long may the nice weather last! |

My second sail with my Rooster 8.1 rig.........I'm very impressed ! The wind probably got to a F3 (only just) after lunch but it was enough to make my new boat move at quite a decent speed - it's a very steep learning curve but really good fun !
