700 - allows a middle aged, unfit, overweight father of two like me to enjoy more performance than I could have imagined a few years ago.

300 comes out top as its such a fun boat and so responsive

500 - such good fun in serious breeze and easy to sail

800 - Only crewed it but felt nice and responsive. Fast, forgiving and fun but never really had that 'on the edge' feeling you get from a 29er. Must try it again though.

400 - felt ok in light but very much felt like a big boys grunty type of boat - not really my type but probably fun in waves

Feva - hated the thing, stupid jib halyard without a proper cleat, slippery floor, made of plastic and the whole rig just flopped around in any sort of chop. Really not impressed with that one. (but probably ok for small kids).

Not tried anything else from their range.

for me it varies depending on the wind;

Light - 400

medium - 800

Howling - 200

But now I obviously have to say 100 aswell!

Cheers,

Keith.

I'm curious why someone with a topper logo on their postings is asking this question?

Personally, I have a soft spot for the 200, as I enjoyed sailing one when they first came out. Decided to stick with the Fairey Firefly in the end, though.

Not quite sure what the relevance is to the best RS boat as all are aimed at different types of sailors.

Afterall, the Feva is for Youth whereas the 800 is a highperformance craft.

I have a 200 and 700 in the dinghy park. I have sailed the Feva, Vision, 200,400, 700. I prefer the fibreglass boats for the way they sail.

Lets face it RS dont make a bad boat.

They don't suit everyone but most can find something they
like.

For me its the 400, 800 and 100
