Gotta say I'd stick with the Gill pro series.  Have just replaced my set which lasted 3 seasons.  Which is some sort of record, and to be fair I could have eekked a few more months out.  25 dvided by 3 = £8.33 a year... how long do those builders glves last?
I might be sailing it, but it's still sh**e!

the builders gloves do come in a thermal version...not sure how efective they are though as ive never tried them. As for gloves for me, if im helming i dont wear gloves, and if im crweing i will wear the builders gloves, they are the grippiest gloves ive ever used, and i can get them for free

Deifnetly Supa Glvoes (or similar) just like Ben is wearing in the piccie - great for skiffs and high loads especially...not so warm though, but you can't have it all!

Kite surf gloves work well.

Not going to name the brand, it's one I profit by.

I got a pair of 'GripFast' gloves. They are based in Brightlingsea (you can purchase the gloves from fleabay). Cost £8 and still look as good as new even after 6 months of Laser sailing. Good grip levels too. They are the best I have come across so far.

I always wear the grippy builders gloves but then again I always have a ood supply in the house...I find that because my hands arn't very dexterous it is the only pair of gloves I can wear.

Okay then guys and gals

Following an awesome weekend on the Blackwater in the 5oh (thanks Stone SC) I have managed to kill my Gill pro long finger gloves (3 long finger 2 short leather faced jobbies)

I am a happy little camper with these and would reccommend them to anyone, but not too proud to try something else.

So - What Glove is man enough for the Job?
