Yes I believe there was one in transit from the Y&Y test to Pinnel & Bax
the designer Mike Arnold was there on the saturday and he mentioned
having one outside.

There should of course have been one inside, but one day they'll maybe
make up their minds how best to market the damn thing.

We have a saying in our game, it's called the "Sales prevention and
market avoidance department" they have it fully engaged like most other
businesses in the Marine Business I'd say, I've never encountered such a
moribund excuse for a business sector.

As it happens I don't particularly have a great deal of time for them, not
being the fastest or most reliable company on earth, but it's got nothing
to do with me what they do as far as the hull moulding is concerned, they
obviously have their reasons.

No I don't have any pictures of the wing wang in action, it doesn't seem
to travel as far as it did with this new set up, but it's still sufficient to soak
pretty low in the light stuff, and definitely sets this boat apart from other
assymms for tactical options.

There should be a couple more about this season, worth getting a go in
one if you're in the market for a traditional one man wiring and one man
easy riding the smoothest of sailboats this scribe ever set butt in.

I don't think they'd quite agree with you on that one.
I've probably set back the whole process years...

But rumour has it a certain well known world champion five oh exponent
has shown interest and if he piles in, that would be good news for them..

Well as long as that includes five ohs everything will be cool...

As opposed to as smooth as the bottom of a cherub, which is a contradiction in terms!

The HiBuild itself is very good stuff. I used it inside the cockpit mixed with fillers and then rolled on to give a stippled raised grip texture. The levels of grip is superb, it just obviously completely destroys anything which touches it. (i turned a pair of textured boot soles smooth in 2 days, and I still have the scars on my shin from where I missed the gunwhale between the rack and used the gunwhale edge as a rasp on my shin.... mmmmmm)

Sounds like excellent none slip.

In our case they've clearly rubbed it down, it's smooth as a baby cherubs
bottom.
