Yes that's right Splosh. I found when I switched from narrows to wides (5'10" and then 75kg) the extra 3kg corrector made no noticeable difference but the extra leverage upwind was amazing

The narrow winds are for 76+kg, wides are for 70kg or less and if your inbetween you either use narrows or wides with a 3kg corrector weight.

I think thats right

Quick question - what weight range are the narrow suitble for and what weight range are the wide wings suitable for.

Just interested, not sure if it has been mentioned before!

If you ask around on the Yahoo Group you can usually find someone to swap wings with if you buy a narrow-winged boat.

im also in the same situation and im looking at buyin one however not sure if my boat will sell. i weigh 56kg so would need wide wings which dont seem as common.

I'm only a bit heavier than you mate, and love it, but yeah starting on baby rig is a real help, makes it easier to tack and get your manoevers sorted :].

Also aim for one with wide wings, obviously... :]

Too light for what? If you're not going to race it then why would it make any great difference, except that you might want to stop playing in about 5% knots less wind...
