Olympic Classes Survey

Andy Rice's serices of articles on Olympic classes is rolling on and now he's running a survey ... it will be interesting to see some hard data on the views of the sailing public. Perhaps ISAF of the RYA should have done this ... but perhaps the answers would be hard to face up to ...

Because he does not work exclusively for Y&Y, I would say at a guess. Maybe he wanted to take his own editorial line on this, maybe it is good for him the generate views of his site and e-mail, maybe he offered it to Y&Y and they said no. Only Andy really knows but not all of his writing goes to Yachts.

There isn't going to be a cat at the next olympics so whats the point in having the option for mixed or female

But they are after peoples opinion, and if it is Scooby-simon's opinion that there should be two then he should be able to express it.  He won't be the only one.

 

Indeed; looks to me that this "survey" is just out to propagate what he wants.
