he sailed contenders for years and was a boatbuilder untill he discovered his models were very sought after and easier on his back when making ! Check his website , models are awesome. He had a project on a contender years ago and was going to make it into a skiff, last I saw many many years ago was he had started to adapt for wings , but halted it , it may still be kicking around .

Ross there is a chap called Keith Bond who has 2 contender hulls which are pretty fooked, he is the man you need to speak to i know he is desperate to get rid 01905 761803
