Seems that SUI 100 is slighly faster than NZL 92, but ETNZ are sailing the boat better. It was noticable that the swiss spinnaker colapsed more on the gybes. I had hoped for a close match and I think we've got one. The atmosphere in Valencia was brilliant.

I watched the race highlights this morning , Russel Coutts was on with the Commentory team and he couldn't believe that Alinghi didn't Gybe ,what a race .It has been interesting hearing how he see's it ,I think Alinghi are missing him

This protest will be interesting , a safety issue, will it cost Alinghi a race? My cousin lost a regatta because he didn't have a radio on board after winning it . I guess rules are rules . |

Rules are also stupid. It's not like the mainsail droppability affects the boat speed and it's a sailing race not a health and safety competition. |

I suppose if there was a major problem ,and the sail had to come down quickly not being able to drop it could be dangerous
