I agree, but nevertheless I would really like a copy of it so if anyone could help I would really appreciate it.  Seems crazy that the most succesful team is always shown offpeak.  Perhaps we could start a petition or something.

.£155 for something the BBC shows off peak while putting on hours of drivvle at peak-times.. sounds like a TV license?
Feeling sorry for vegans since it became the latest fad to claim you are one

Well there's a while to go yet before the Olympics. I don't think any country has selected its team members yet. British policy is to select early where possible, but you've got to say that whereas 8 weeks ago it looked fairly clearcut, suddenly there's a lot less between the two teams. I don't think there's anything unreasonable about keeping the selection process running longer. You wouldn't want to pick a team that peaked a year before the event.

I feel really sorry for Ayton and her team as they have fairly and squarely beaten Shirley and there is still a question mark hanging over the selection process.  It was after all Shirley who broke up the team from Athens as she decided to start a family. I say send Ayton and Co and they will continue to do the job they have been doing by medaling at every regatta they have attended since last year.  Shirley had her chance and has been beaten!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed...also isn't it time the Beeb dropped Richard Simmonds or his production company. Richard Parslow was doing a far more enthusiastic commentary on Sky

The "funny" thing is if Shirley does not go to the next games as a sailor, she could well go there for the Beeb...

Did you watch the ISAF Worlds programme on BBC1 at lunchtime. Pity they tried to make the programme into a soap opera with the Sarah vs Shirley story.
I don't think Shirley did herself any favours with her comments at the end of the programme, no-one has the 'right' to go to China and anyone can talk up their game and promise better performance in the future, but the fact is she was beaten fair and square. One wonders why the BBC (Richard Simmonds) devoted such a high percentage of the programme on the Shirley story. Yet didnt even interview(broadcast) Draper/Hiscocks whose story alongside Morrison/Rhodes is broadley similar.
With Ayton presumably going to China next month, if she wins then, what will the Selectors do?
