My 14 kite is totally destroyed as of today’s sailing and they don't seem to come up often second hand. The topper website shows the boss kite as being 33sqm, is this the new or old rig? Does anyone know the mast height and pole extension of the boss or whether it would fit my (modded to new rules) 14?

The Laser 5000 kite is 2sqm smaller than the typical 14 kite so the boss seems the best match.

New boss kite is mast head, I would suggest it is too full for the I14.

The 5000 kite is 33 square metres, so if the boss kite is the same area, you'll still be 2 square metres short.

Checked the site too  Quoted at 30 sqm but I'm sure its 33. I'll have a look around the flat to see if I can find anything on paper about it, still pretty sure its 33sqm

I knew it! I've got a class handbook from back in 2000, produced by the Laser Centre, quoting 33sqm.

What kind of 14 do you have ? I'm really surprised that you don't find any kite from 14 racer who change quite often.
