Bob Inn

looks like the old salty sea dog has gone and got himself thrown overboard.  Unfortuately I have been shopfitting for the last couple of weeks and doing silly hours, so I have not kept up with all the gossip.

So........ what did he do!  Please satisfy my curiosity.

Forum member Bob Inn seems to have been deleted, is now listed as a guest and has negative stars. 

This happens when you have been naughty and generally upset people.

So I just wanted to know why.

Wanna hear the story of Bob Inn?

He placed a cry for help a Garmin handheld GPS device with missing/dropping pins, expected people to come and share their Garmin-esque misfortunes online and was sorely disappointed... not one answered   

Not deterred, our Bob Inn posted a message on the Cool Wall thread, hijacking it to get a reaction. He got one!!  Mark Jardine deleted the post and sent it to another section (I think it was Sailing Games, but I'm not sure). Ask Matt Jackson, he also saw the message disappear and thought he was losing it!! (I don't know him well enough to comment further.......)

Meanwhile, our anti-Garmin crusader found life on the forum not worth living and chose to end it by being deleted - virtual suicide isn't quite as final, though... he might come back one day ?!

Shame the ole salty fella topped himself vitually speaking !

I knew him well (or well I knew him) meant no harm ! only was a tad concerned about his foretrex falling of his arm , being frail of mind , site and all that matters his navigational device was of gr8 concern to him .

He would often wax lyrical about the genius of dem bouys at Garmin .

Spect the issue will die with ole Bob too . His misse tells me in his final throws he even tried re inventing himself , but couldn't !

Seems the crime he committed must have been pretty heinous .
