Zieg's last a bit longer. Yes they do all go soft, and gain weight as they absorb water. In some ways its all in the mind though. 3yr old Lenam won the youths a few years ago. Much more important, I would say, to have all your rig and tuning dialed in as long as your hull isnt too overweight.

Definitely get whatever boat you're going to do the year in with enough time to really get used to it and set it up. Especially if it will be different to your old boat.

Mackay would probably be a good option... How long a hull lasts is VERY dependent upon usage!

Anyone know how long before they come soft? Do they all go soft? I know the Lenams are particularly bad for it (which is what ive got at the moment). I will probably get a ziegelmayer next year when i start to compete on the circuit. So anyone sure if manufacture makes a difference?
