Off racing at Chichester on Sunday, first proper open since last August, haven't sailed with my crew since March, boat is in the garage requiring more varnish... gonna be fun

Hmmmm I'm becoming doubtful about going to lee this weekend, the forecast isn't brilliant and I really should be revising for next week crammed full of A-level exams. Still it is only down the road from Hill Head so I may sail the boat round to have a look.
600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it.
Also International 14, 1318

i am thinking the same thing, dont really want to pay for a windless event and the accomodation as well.

Mike - take your work with you and revise while waiting for the sea breeze!

Dan - if you're the same Dan who posted on the yahoo group about it being your first event, a light wind event is a good introduction as you can get to know the guys while waiting for the breeze, and have a more tactical race than if it was windy as the boats all tend to go a similar speed in the light stuff.

Also you could always hold off entering and paying until you know you will be racing.....

I'm off to Bala for the long distance on Saturday. Although doesn't look like lots of wind at the moment.

Weymouth Regatta for the 12fters this weekend.

Let's hope they set some nice big courses in the bay

I'm off to Filey Regatta this weekend, is anyone else going?

Apart from a brief spin in Weymouth harbor last year, this will be my first time foiling in waves, and it's fair to say I'm s***ing myself!

Off out for a play at Grafham in the Vareo.

Look for the Yellow Cherub as well, that'll be Ratface.

Doing this

Could be rapid. Currently looks like it'll be a downwind start!
