Deck Grip

 

   I prefer Mr Zoggs sex wax never had my feet slip off the surfboard and it works great on the decks of the T (smells nice too if you like coconut)

Another option is stippled gelcoat mix a wee bit of silica or micro balloons into the gelcoat to make it stiff a small amount of surfacing wax so the gelcoat doesnt go all sticky and not set then paint on and stipple with a paintbrush hard wearing but doesn't mix well with bare flesh.

If there are any hurricane 5.9's at your club have a look at the outside edges of the decks that is how AW does this

Looks Messy though. Im looking for real grip. The sort of stuff that would be very painfull to fall on. Is sugar that grippy?

I've never tried it in anger, but a little accident made me think that rolling peel ply onto the paint when its very nearly but not quite hard might well produce an effective, good looking and low aggression non slip surface. Peel ply isn't that cheap though.
