Sailing from the Blackwater SC this weekend in the N18, which was very nice,  but was very jealous to see the 600ff having about a million times more fun.  one day perhaps, one day.

I think I finally mastered the big wind bear away at Rutland - oops, sorry I mean Grafham this weekend.....we had superb conditions, so did the laser masters, although according to the home page they were at Rutland.....

At the other end of the spectrum, I took my three year old out in an Optibat on Sunday for the first time.  Glorious weather, great location and we had a fantasctic time - we even overtook a capsized 700!  Many thanks to Chew Valley Lake SC for providing free oppies.

Little Peaky even went straight to sleep at bedtime - although I'm sure I heard him claim he was "the captain" just before he closed his eyes.

Fantastic sailing conditions at Alton Water this weekend, unbroken sunshine, nice wind strength and in a direction that that allowed some lovely long reaches....if only more weekends were like that !

First sail and race of the season, leeward mark, pull in sheet, that block should be attached to something, that'll be the traveller car then...

Been a great weekend on the water! Yesturday was my first race in the
Streaker. Started off light but a good solid see breeze filled in. Pretty fun
downwind!
Today not so fun, started light and stayed light but it was good racing none
the less.
I redeemed myself this weekend after last weekends incident. Though now
I'm getting a lot of hassle about the Streaker's PY number.
Anyone know whether the Streaker's PY is particularly fair or is a bit of a
bandit?

Had a really great weekend with other 3000's at the Langstone Harbour Race Weekend (a sort of mini-Chichester Fed week for the harbour next door).

Despite a light forecast and drifting pre-start, the sea breeze rescued us and we had a sparkling sail both days (unfortunately I was RO at Wilsonian on the Monday).

Yes, it really was as sparkly as this:
