Yeah definately a bimble even if it doesnt work!
You should get in the habit of holding your mainsheet in your tiller hand downwind, that way you can adjust it. If you had a splice into your spinni-sheets I can imagine it getting caught on the blocks or you'd end up with the join being right where you need to hold the sheet to play it. Do padded cushions on the thwart count as a pimp? |

Even if that did work it would definataly be a bimble...unless you paid someone lots to do it and then found out it wasn't helpful but looked good then it would be pimp...

but the middle of the sheet could be spliced to the mainsheet surely so that you wouldnt need to come off the racks to squeeze or ease the main a bit on flat wired reach? off topic sorry for hijacking this thread! |

Laser193713,
Your kitesheet ends should be tied to the kite. Leaving a continuous sheet through the boat. Just tie the mainsheet off to the swivel base with a length of shockcord. Regarding pimps I like the minilite wheels, certainly better than the standard cheaper wheels. |

what about making a sound system to go inside the hull
and have some marine speakers in the hatch covers so you get awesome sound which would be resonate through the hull so you get more bass. that would be amazingly PIMP would only work if your hull was 100% watertight and dry on the inside though. Edited by s.a.l.t.y |

Haha we used to have alloys on our rib trailer, they were definitely pimping! Definitely like the sound system idea! saw that on a 300 on here but to be honest the speakers looked a bit small Nothing to do with pimp but would tying/splicing the end of the mainsheet to the point where the spinny sheets join in the boat be good in the same way as 29ers splice their main sheets to the jib sheet so that both can be reached without coming into the boat? just a thought? |
