Don't forget, the expenses (and salary) for being an MEP are even better than those for being an MP - and much better than local councillors get. No wonder everyone wants to be an MEP! The voting slip reminded me of a circus poster - about the same size, and full of silly names. I went for the two headed man, but was tempted by the lion tamer and the human canonball. The rest were all clowns. |

I voted, but of the mile long list of people to vote for in our area, I couldn't really see one of whom I thought "I must vote for them". On the county side, there were only 3 names. Something is very screwed up with the system when the world and his/her other half want to stand for Europe, merely, in the main, to stick one finger up to it, but don't want to stand for councils were they might actually be able to get in and do some good. I guess that would involve actually working, too.

No, I'm afraid the much researched "black tennis ball" complex in OCD indicates a very poor prognosis. And BTO is generally acknowledged in the psychiatric community as being completely incurable. A truly tragic case..............
