Yes, I see what you mean Jim, but not from where I expected it

** they need to be careful, too much blowing smoke up your own importance might not go down to well with the conservative bunch like the ISAF, suprised at the source as well (although I hope they don't win anyway! )

Feeling sorry for vegans since it became the latest fad to claim you are one

Some one must be watching - they seem to have corrected that error.

Love the Sail No and logo on the RS800 - especially as the trials are in France and London beat Paris to the selection

Nothing like winding up the French (sorry BNS).

Not sure I agree there. Surely the RS800 should be trying to show off any credentials as an international class, rather than emphasising that it is mostly sailed by British sailors with a few European boats here and there. And to be honest it just looks a bit tacky.

Talk in Hyeres is that there may be a further evaluation in September, a few days before the Sail for Gold Olympic classes regatta in Weymouth. The hope is that the boats might get an opportunity to strut their stuff in some wind and waves, both of which have been in short supply in the South of France so far.

I've published some more photos sent to me by Andy Penman from the 14s here:
