A good breakfast is essential.  If a weekend event you will probably be staying in a B&B so eat as much breakfast as you can to get your money's worth.  During the racing if back to back try bananas, plenty of energy and each one comes in its own waterproof biodegradable wrapper, so you can chuck it over the side without too many complaints.  After racing beer, beer, beer then eat whatever you fancy, but I find that curries, steaks and a good old British roast dinners are best.

that sounds like a full hearted food sounds good.  but if u eat that evertime ur gonna need to read up on the weight management tpoic

That sounds like a very balanced diet.

I introduced pre sailing bacon sarnies to LSC when I was canteen mgr - they are now our best seller. Always have Mars Bars and if they are lucky they get a curry after sailing.

Hope the new canteen manager keeps up the standards!!!

hmm i was just thinking what is the best food to eat before and after sailing random i know but im interested i mean do u eat a little salad or a fat a** curry!?
