have you ever launched at sidmouth its crazy the beach it so steep the waves literally crash on the beach some days at the scorp nationals it was 6 to 8 foot swell.


Boat launching at Sidmouth is a piece of cake ...

Copyright protection - to prevent breach of copyright.

Some people make a living out of photography. Best
not to try and rip them off, eh?

If you dont rip them off, it is a more viable profession
which equals more photographers which equals
more high quality images of the sport (and you, if you
go to the right event.)

I would be miffed if my work was splatted about
without permission. (if i was a photographer)

I know the site. They were more than likely loaded onto the site by the photographers. pro or not, they still have a copyright on them, and that website is obviously keen to protect their users, and rightly so.
Y&Y pay for their photographs, and those submitted by us amateurs free of charge are credited on the website with copyright (if you look)
If you think their site is like this site, then the same rules apply. Y&Y are also serious about copyright.

i am well awear of FACT as i study Media Studies

There is actually a different set of rules apply to internet usage and to be able to use an image all that is needed is to credit the website or photographer when copying and pasting an image.

To be honest i should know better as i know the rules  i will credit the owner from now on
