Small Lake, Fast Boat

   Hi guys,
we all know what i sail  . So lets get on with it. At the weekend. I was going hell for leather up wind. It was really motoring, but the thing is we wernt pointing all that well. The jib setting is fine, its just we were going quite wide angles to keep the telltales flying. Is this normal or should i change something. What could make me go higher but also the same speed?
