Which of your fleet did the damage !

I sailed my 8.1 on Saturday, very light winds but plenty of entertainment with that amount of rig,

b14/mps/9er open at rutland, 2 days of great sailing, f3 and blue(ish) skies only about 10 degrees of perfection.  not a bad result either

Good grief Strawberry!  I had a brief look at the webcams and saw how windy it was!

I spent Saturday at an OU tutorial, then sanding the mystery boat, then on Sunday I was trained to be officious at athletics meetings, then sanding the boat.  Today I have.....sanded the boat.

It will be ready, for the weekend, it will I tell you!

I keep reading with envy the posts of those who make it out onto the water.

My boat is a week or two away from going to the club and I can't wait. It's looking good with the newly refinished deck and floor. New control lines also look good as do the new (for me at least - not brand new) mast and boom.

Let's hope for sun and slightly more manageable conditions first time out after a winter lay-off.

Too right ... spent all day Sat putting the 18 together while IainC was out in SP ... grrrr ...SP was looking real good too nice F4 in places triple stringing entertaining bear aways next to the shore   ... oh and Iain might have something to say next

Had a really nice sail in the 300 though on Sunday morning ... only if I had gone out in the afternoon I would have sown up both the morning winter series and the afternoon. 2 points thats all it took

Does this mean you will be joining us for some sailing on Sunday then Nessa? I noticed your barge has appeared in the boatpark...

There is Laser training on Saturday so the club will be open (and lots of hands if you need help with anything) then sailing on Sunday, the following Sunday we go up to 3 races (but I am working so will not be there). Wednesday night sailing starts on the 1st as well.

Well, in theory I'm meant to be taking it to the classics meet at Whitefriars and if it isn't ready I am doomed to sail a Beachcomber....

But I will come over on Saturday and hopefully get the barge onto the water if I won't be in the way.  (By the way, I fully intend to sail with masthead 5 litre water containers, so that will give you all a laugh!)

Is that next Wednesday for evening racing?  I shall try and make that too, but goodness only knows with which boat...

Cant say i blame you with the 5L masthead floats, I have sailed with those before (admittedly it was on a Hobie 16 in the Menai Strait when it was blowing a F6)...

There will be 23 Lasers floating around but there should be plenty of room.

Thats Wednesday the 1st for the evening racing, 7pm start. I am on Rescue for it.
