Hi guys,
I was launching today on a lee shore today which wasnt particularily fun. Anyway as we were just about to sail away we were hit by a 2k and the left a 2k bow shaped hole in the side of the boat. normally i would repair this. But its quite close to the shrouds so could be quite a high load area. Any ideas on how to repair it or just send it away. Unfortunatelly i have no piccys of it.

Might be worth posting this on Sailing Anarchy - dinghy anarchy.  Theres some professional boat builders knocking around there that can give you some really quality advice.  You might get Steve Clark of International Canoe/C-Class Cat/general frankenboats fame to give you a few tips.

Thats bad luck BBSC, where you sailing with Carshalton?

I wouldn't think you'd be wanting to repair that, would you? Was the 2k in the wrong ? (or were you?)
