Yes I've looked at the Magic Marine skiff buoyancy aid but it doesn't look that much different from the others.  Why can't it extend further down the back?

It has a tight strap on the inside, and hardly rides up at at all, especially under a rash vest
Needs to sail more...

I find my magic marine skiff bouyancy aid great gives loads of movement and doesnt move up at all

Kids BAs (the really stylish ones with collars) have them but I think it's more to do with parents desire to buy all their kids clothes too big to get longer out of them. This means kids can slip out of the BA easily. I think the current trend for very high BAs means crotch straps aren't really an option.
