There is a new database now on the 12 site which lists all the designs and boats.

You can list the boats by number or by the design.

Also you can update the entry for each boat ... so if you have ever owned or sailed a 12 perhaps you can add to the database for the boat you have sailed.

Interesting to see how many of each design were built and the history of the boats.

Added comments on my old boat 2899, plus 3014 and 3176. Back in th 70's, 80's and 90's we had a good fleet at Portchester, with a lot of design and building going on. It was a lot of fun, there was a real buzz about the club that has now been lost. Shame...

This and the (sort of) equivalent on the Lark site are a great resource. Do any other classes do this? 
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else
