   Was it just me or did this escapade lack a little peril?  After all a fit 14 year old lad is likely to have the same level of physical presence as Ellen, so the noteworthy challenge would be not in handling the yacht but in independently skippering a boat alone on an ocean passage!  I'm not suggesting it was a walk in the park simply that having your Dad following you all the way is more of a tricky cruise in company. IMHO

	If you were the Dad, would you want to be left behind? I just hope he isn't the ultimate oppie parent! I would imagine there was plenty of peril during the trip, after all, a 14 year old may be as strong as Ellen but doesn't have 10's of thousands of sea miles under his belt. Good on him for doing it - wish I had had the funding at his age (or even now!). Shame they didn't have Y&Y's email address onboard, though!
