that surprised me, i'd heard the hull shape made it fairly quick onto the plane ... the relative motion of the camera boat makes it look quick at times, but against the waves it really does seem to plough a furrow

i bet it gives the sensation of speed and seat of the pants sailing when you're on board ... skiff sailing for the unititated, exactly what Laser set out to achieve

the Cherubs had some excellent video footage at last year's dinghy show, a totally different ball game, and as for the Australian skiffs .......

I think we have to wait till final year projects when my project will mostly be 'how many full size moth cores can I cut out on the huge CNC machine before they notice a suden drop in the amount of foam in the department'
