If money is a issue why not look at the contender, not quite as fast as a 600 but it will teach you similar things and you can buy a good club racer for half the price of a tired 600.

The sailors will also teach you to drink real mans drinks rather than bottled cider that is for small children and girls

If you think the 49er is gonna be pretty long term then id definantly swap out for a singlehander.

600s are great fun and have the benifit of keeping your trap helming fresh if you go back to 14s at some point (basicaly why I bought one)

Thought about a moth? im sure Ive heard of a very sexy green one for sale...

Im having a bit of a dilemma. As you probably now know I sail a 49er most of the time and this means that my 14 is jus sitting there. I dont know what to do, because although its broken at the moment (yes again) when its fixed and i can use it my helm is busy and there is usually no one at club who is good/big enough to sail it. And as much as I love my 14 i cant bear to see it sit there when it should be eating 800s for breakfast!  Which then leads me to ask myslef whether i should get a single hander like a 600.

Thoughts please guys.

Thanks,

 Alex
