f you are not aware, Volkswagen are sponsoring the current Laser SB3 Series. As part of this they provide a free DVD with 90mins of race footage of Chris Draper and Simon Hiscocks racing one. Mark Rushall gives lots of useful racing tips and insights.

Does it really weigh 155kg, and how come it's not on the Laser website yet?

It probably does weigh something like that, it's a big boat.  The one on the Laser stand at Southampton was just the prototype and had glass fibre construction (so it looked nice and shiny).  The final version will have the finish of a Vago.

I think it says in the Boat Show review in the current issue of Y&Y that Laser will produce the first boats in November.  So maybe it won't appear on the website until then?
