Is it possible to buy just the lower section of this mast? I've just had a small out of control moment resulting in me going frikkin' fast then stoping rather abruptly

It should / would / could be covered by your insurance company.

They will probably arange for you to receive a full new mast.

In that case PM someone from the Cherub fleet and they'll come round to your house to help you fix it for the price of the sticky stuff and a curry! At the end of the weekend you'll know how to fix it yourselve next time.

We may have a reputation as vultures when it comes to broken RS 6,7,&800 masts, but it does mean that we know a thing or two about fixing them .
